    • 4.1 ). May graduated from Ellington High in 1942. Charles was stationed during World War II in the Panama Canal Zone as a Military Policeman. After the war Chuck and May lived in a family home in Falconer until moving to a 29 acre farm near Magnolia. Chuck worked for Hope's Windows in Jamestown and worked his farm. He and Leo Lescynski would butcher the cattle and pigs for surrounding farmers. May stayed at home with the children. She sold homemade butter and rolls. She also picked grapes for Welch's during the fall to buy Christmas presents. She was active in the Magnolia United Methodist Church. Charles died 5 Jul 1991, from congestive heart failure and buried: 11 Jul 1991, Magnolia Cemetery, Stedman, NY. May died 23 Jan 1997, at the Hamot Medical Hospital in Erie, PA, from complications of a heart bypass surgery and buried next to Charles 29 Jan 1997, Magnolia Cemetery, NY
